I've been lost for the last couple of days; I've been crying, I've been sad. There are reasons I could not easily divulge under any circumstance - no matter how much I'm dying to tell you what has been bothering me. In times like this, I seek silence, solitude (or solitudine if that's the proper word for that instead).
As many of you may already know, one of my favorite songs is that of Kings of Leon's Use Somebody. I came across this cover by Laura Jansen and this is what I've been playing the entire week. I've been soothed (a little). For those of you out there who may want to seek refuge by means of a song, this may be perfect for you.
Enjoy!
I've been roaming around
Always looking down at all I see
Painted faces, fill the places I cant reach
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody
Someone like you, And all you know, And how you speak
Countless lovers under cover of the street
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody
Someone like you
Off in the night, while you live it up, I'm off to sleep
Waging wars to shape the poet and the beat
I hope it's gonna make you notice
I hope it's gonna make you notice
Someone like me
Someone like me
Someone like me, somebody
Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody
I've been roaming around,
Always looking down at all I see
